Tomorrow's Sky

Pain burned inside of my nerves

I fought the screams and tears

Suffering, anguish

My humanity disappeared through the years

I tried to forget and live

My title and body attracted curious stares

My brother's screams

Echoed throughout my nightmares.

Until I could finally see him

Starved and fragile, flesh and bone

Our bodies reborn from the endless circles

As I gladly sacrifice the wisdom carved in stone.

The pain lives in memories,

The nightmares never die.

But now there is hope,

Within the sun in tomorrow's sky.
