Ok, this meme was so much fun to do! The original can be found here

Alright, I'm gonna give more reasons for my choices here, so I hope you enjoy.

5th: Jasmine from Aladdin
Jasmine has always been a personal favorite of mine. She's independant, fun, and has a pet tiger. I defintely like how she was willing to run away from her lifestyle as a princess to avoid arrange marriage and definately was a feminist if I ever saw one.
My only complaint was the fact that she was a little clueless at some parts, like when she took the apple and the guy wanted to cut her hand off. she's wearing HUGE gold earrings and a necklace, why not just give em to the guy?! I'm pretty damn sure that'd cover the cost of a stupid apple.
But, whatever. Jasmine is definately one princess who's spunky and fun and impossible not to love.

4th: Rapunzel from Tangled.
I know this movie hasn't even hit DVDs yet, but I loved this movie so much and Rapunzel definately won my heart. she was so cute and innocent, but knew how to stand up for herself. she wasn't your typical damsal in distress either.
She was just misled by her evil "mother" and I do love how she was portrayed to be a little bit selfish in the sense that she was willing to risk breaking her mother's heart by leaving to see the lanters. It made her a more three dimensional character.
Now do I enjoy the fact that he hair friggin glows and heals people? Eh...I find it kinda cheesy. But it did tie in the plot of the movie well, and it makes sense why she grew her hair so friggin long to begin with.
Well, Rapunzel is definately adorable, with her sidekick pascal and her long hair and freckles, she stands out as one fun Disney Princess.

3rd: Tiana from the Princess and the Frog.
How can you not love her? She was, by far, the most independant Disney Princess ever. Unlike many of the other ladies, she did not sit around dreaming of a prince ot take her away from her life, but worked to make her life her own. Now I know what some of you are thinking.
"Cinderella worked hard!" Yes, but Cinderella was a damsal if I ever saw one. She wanted someone to save her instead of taking initiative and trying to help herself.
Tiana worked for her dream instead of wishing around for it, which I personally loved. Not to mention she and the prince acually loathe each other before falling in love, which was too cute.

2nd: Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame
Where to begin? Esmeralda was such a wonderfully unique character and the best non-princess in my opinion. Smart, beautiful, charming, and kind, she is truly a character girls can look up to.
The only reason why she didn't get first was because she fell for the "prince charming" type, which kind of annoyed me. Don't get me wrong, I love Phoebus, but it made me sad to see Quasimodo's heart get broken.
But aside from that, I loved her. She was not afraid of anything, not even Frollo when she's mere seconds from being burned by him at the stake. Esmeralda, the gypsy beauty who totally won us over.

1st: Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Belle beat Esmeralda by a small margin, but I definately think she deserves the number one spot. She's smart, independant, and doesn't need nor want to marry the prince and be happy. She's definately strayed fromt he status quo and is a bit of an outcast, which makes her so much more likeable.
A day dreamer and a lover of books with a vivid imagination, Belle is hard not to love. And she also falls in love with the beastm which definately differs her fromt he other princesses.
My only complaint is how she does make some pretty stupid choices, like going into the West Wing after the beast specifically tells her not to. But otherwise, I love her.
Belle is the most realistic princess and the easiest to relate to.

And those are my top five disney ladies.

Now, as for the ones i didn't choose, a lot of them came to my mind after I already scanned and made this and so I typed em on the bottom.

Ariel, Meg, Cinderella, Quorra, Mulan, Gem, Sally, all of these ladies are awesome, but the five above are my top favorite.

Hope you all enjoyed this meme.
