10 Top Hottest Movie Characters -complete

Yeeeeeeeeeah, I did the meme. It's similar to the top-ten live action meme, only this one was only meant for movie characters, though the live-action meme ended up with only movie characters

As you can see, my taste has altered a bit.

10. Tyler Gage from Step Up!
Two words: Channing Tatum. Let's be honest, this actor's a hottie. I chose his role from Step Up! because not only is he friggin gorgeous, but he can DANCE! I love Channing Tatum, and this was the first role I ever saw him in. And that will be that! I'll admit I don't care too much for the punky, bad boy (yet I love super villains...go figure) but this character was pretty cool.

9. Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice
Sadly, Matthew McFadyen did fall a few spots from the last list, but he is still a wonderful character. Very proper and mysterious and cold, he exudes a very confident attitude that just makes us ladies swoon. I do admit, he still manages to earn a fangirlish squeal from me here and there whenever I pop this movie in. I guess he fell on the list because he's an older crush of mine and it's kinda become outdated for me. But he's still awesome!

8. Sweeny Todd from...well, Sweeny Todd
Johnny Depp...he also fell a few spots on this list, but that simply came from adding new names and, I'm sad to say, I haven't been as impressed with Johnny's choices of roles lately. But still, I absolutely love him as Sweeny, and that won't change anytime soon! He was so creepy and dark but so sympathetic, we had to love him! And I think this is his best Tim Burton look, personally.

7. Red Skull aka Johann Schmidt from Captain America; the First Avenger
I can just see the "wtf?!" faces now. Well, allow me to explain. Lately the attraction to this character has declined a bit for me, but I still loved Hugo Weaving's performance. His German accent (which is hot, btw) to his crazed outbursts and also calm, murderous attitude made for an all-around interesting character. While physically he's not as attractive as a younger actor might be, he still manages to have a certain sense of sensual appeal through the attitude and presentation (and let's be fair, Hugo Weaving looks pretty damn good for someone over 50).

6. V from V for Vendetta
I'm sorry V, you also fell on this list. But seeing as you are also played by Hugo Weaving and he is the only actor to have two spots on this list, don't be too sad. V is just a bad ass character. I love his charisma, I love his style, and I just love his story. What else can you say? You see him better with a mask than without.

5. Castor from Tron; Legacy
Damn, so far all original characters from the live-action meme have fallen, and sadly, Castor is no exception. While I admire Michael Sheen's fun, flamboyency with him, I think the fact that he, like Red Skull, is portrayed by an older actor lessens the physical appeal after a while. Not to sound mean, but this meme is dedicated to the hotness of characters as well as their personalities. But, with that said, Castor is still a lot of fun and i love his mannerisms and smile. He's extremely enjoyable to watch, and he still remains my favorite part of Tron. He's not as much one of my major movie hotties as he was before, but I still love him!

4. Bruce Wayne from The Dark Knight
BRUCE! first character on the original list that neither rises or falls in place. Christian Bale is still my number 4 hottie and it's hard not to see why. He is friggin BATMAN! Not only that, but he manages to seem dark and mysterious yet suave and debonaire, which makes for one attractive character. Come on, it's Bruce Wayne. He's smart, he's cool, and he can kick your ass. What's not to love?

3. Steven Rodgers from Captain America; the First Avenger
Here's a new name for this list. I'll be honest, Chris Evans is just a cutie. and I adore his role as Steve in Captain America. Now, in the Avengers, part of his appeal is lessened by his use of corny, comic-book style lines and he is a little clueless which, while cute sometimes, does lessen the appeal slightly at some points. but that doesn't mean his cute smile, beautiful body, and adorable personality doesn't make us all swoon - and it sure as hell does. This guy might be the only person I know who can pull off a red, white, spangled outfit in the middle of a war and still be a bad ass.

2. The Joker from The Dark Knight
GASP! My number one hottie from last time dropped down to number two?! I know, shocking! But, it's true. Heathe Ledger's infamous Joker still holds a special place in my heart, but I'm afraid I have started to age a little out of my adoration of this character. Don't get me wrong, I still love him, but i've been opening up to more movies and the Joker is less overwhelming now. But he is still memorable, which is why he only dropped by one spot. His laugh, wardrobe, and insanity make him completely powerful and he has a way of getting into your head without trying. The joker is my all-time favorite villain in almost any variation (excluding the monkey version from the later Batman animated series...) and Heathe Ledger's version is the only one I'll admit I find attractive. And he still is!

Now...who could possible have beaten the Joker for the number one spot? Well, it's not a new name, but let's take a look.

1. Loki from Thor and the Avengers
Tom Hiddleston...you are simply fantastic. Ok, I did mention both movies this character was in for one reason - it made that big of a difference between seeing him in one than the other. In my last list, Loki was number 9, and now he's soared to my number 1 hottie. What changed? He did! In Thor, Loki was interesting, sympathetic, and cute, but he only had 2-3 major scenes that fully engrossed me, and the other scenes he had were nice, but not so addicting I'd rewind them again and again. But then came the Avengers...heaven forbid, Loki MADE that movie for me. Every second this guy was onscreen, I refused to stop looking for anything. He was sexy, he was powerful, he was friggin scary as hell, but it was so friggin amazing! You thought the Joker could get inside your head? Loki had that effect and more due to his sympathetic nature out of jealousy and self-loathing as well as his natural intimidation. From the moment he first appears on screen, to the last instant he is there, Loki is simply mesmerizing. Tom Hiddleston was absolutely brilliant in this role, and I want to meet him just to thank him for doing such an amazing job. I adored Loki so much! I never have felt so attached or so entranced by any character onscreen, not even the Joker. At work (and I do work at a movie theater), I race into the theater just to catch scenes of Loki in the Avengers. That is what an amazing character he is.
